Here is a hint:
With increasing age, it can happen that the glass bulbs of the lamps become black and therefore the light can no longer be properly radiated. The lamps are still on. However, the lamps are very hot in such a case (careful, risk of burns!).
Most of the energy supplied to the luminaire is converted into heat. Only a small part in light. The total emitted light output of a light source is most accurately indicated as a luminous flux in lumens (lm).
If the lamp is "mirrored" and black, the heat is not radiated and remains in the glass.
In any case, you should also replace these lamps. And not only when the lamp is dark and no longer lit. The heat can cause damage to plastic covers and other playfield parts.
