LIGHT BULB
In this category the common pinball light bulb can be found.
The most common flipper bulb is the metal socket light bulb with the socket "BA9s" and the designation "GE # 44". This is installed in all known electromechanical pinball machines. Later, the glass base light bulb was also used on more modern devices. This is called "GE # 555". (By the way, "GE" stands for "General Electric", a lamp manufacturer from the USA). As flasher bulb, in most cases the "GE # 89" (metal base) and the "GE # 906" (glass base) are used. In older Williams devices also the "GE # 63". With this type of light bulb, it is generally advisable to replace both lamps arranged side by side, because they are supplied with voltage in series.
And finally, a personal tip from me: I recommend for hard to reach places to take a lamp pull. This greatly simplifies the work.
