The alternative to the battery pack. Saves the pinball data until the voltage in the capacitor is used up.
With the Bally boards from Mally (available again from late autumn 2021), the holes for this are already provided on the board layout. The super capacitor is simply plugged in, soldered and saves the data immediately after switching it on and off. Of course, each compartment for batteries can then be removed.
